Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Willy Dayan has spent most of his life in Toronto although he was born in Brazil. In 1986, Dr. Dayan earned his DDS from the University of Toronto. After one year spent in general practice residency and two years in private general practice, he returned to the university in 1991 to earn his degree in orthodontics.
Dr. Dayan, his wife, and their four children enjoy spending time traveling and exploring the world. Dr. Pablo Kimos received his DDS in 2001 wherein he went on to practice general dentistry.
He then studied at the University of Alberta where he earn an MSC in Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD). In addition to his full-time private practice in orthodontics, Dr. Kimos also is a clinical instructor of Orthodontics at the University of Toronto.
Our Staff and Office
We are very proud and pleased to have one of the most experienced and professional staff in orthodontics here at City Orthodontics. Each of our staff members strives to make your time spent with us pleasant.
We look forward to meeting each new patient as we enjoy watching people’s smiles transform into smiles they have always dreamed of having. Our office is very conveniently located in Toronto, Ontario.
We are at the northeast corner of Yonge Street and York Mills Road in the York Mills Centre.
If you plan to drive there is ample parking available. Our office is easy and direct to access via the subway and GO buses. We keep very flexible office hours and we strive to help you get the most out of your insurance coverage.
It is our goal to provide you with affordable, cutting-edge treatment in our modern and well-equipped office environment.
What to Expect
On your first visit, you will meet with our Treatment Coordinator. Digital photographs will be taken of your mouth for diagnostic purposes so that we can understand your wishes. Your mouth and facial balance will then be assessed by Dr. Dayan or Dr. Kimos.
We enjoy spending time getting to know our new patients and helping them to understand their options. You are under no obligations whatsoever at your initial consultation as it is completely up to you if you wish to follow through with the processes involved in correcting your bite or straightening your teeth.
Types of Braces We Offer
Braces have evolved over time and with the recent advancements made in technology, there are several types of braces available today. We here at City Orthodontics offer a variety of treatments that are designed for different age groups – including adults because braces are certainly not only for children anymore.
The great news is the fact that the new techniques and appliances we use are comfortable to wear, cut down on the number of required office visits and shorten treatment times.
We offer metal braces, translucent braces, and transparent aligners. We are Elite providers of the innovative Invisalign System as well.
We will discuss which treatment options are best for you at your initial consultation as well as outline your plan of treatment so that you know exactly how we will be helping you and the cost involved.
